Dana Scott

Dana Scott is the Head Girls Track Coach and Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach at Waxahachie High School. Along with this, she teaches English I. Coach Scott graduated from Clyde High School in Clyde, Texas, and then attended Angelo State University, where she graduated with a B.S in Education. She began coaching in 1990, and made her move into WISD in 1996. Coach Scott has received a few awards as her time as a coach, a couple of them being WNGA Teacher of the Year in 2002 and Waxahachie Daily Light’s Best Coach in 2010. She has had 5 state qualified runners in track. Coach Scott also served as an assistant coach on the 2000 State Runner-Up basketball team as well as the 2006 State Championship Basketball team.
